My favorite disposable nursing pads
I have tried multiple different brands of disposable nursing pads (Lasinoh, Target brand, drug store brand) and Medela's are by far my favorite. They are super absorbant and (in my experience) leak the least when you have to go a little longer than expected between changes (overnight, etc.). The shape of them is a little strange and could stand to be a little bigger for better coverage -- they're not quite round, so they don't totally cover the cup of your bra, but I think that helps it contour a little better to the shape of you, which helps with the leaking. Love them though, prefer them over all the other options!

Multi-Brand Nursing Pad Review
Overall Rank (Best to worst) 1. Lansinoh 2. Medela disposable 3. Johnson’s 4. Nuk 5. Naturally Nature Washable Nursing Pads 6. Medela reusable Ranking Factors 1. How well they worked 2. Size/Shape 3. How well they stayed in place 4. Cost General Comments: Overall, all but one kind worked fine for me. Every woman is different, but below are the individual product reviews including the factors that I found to be most important. Lansinoh Rating: 5/5 Cost per pad: $0.18 Come individually wrapped, folded in half. + Good size/shape, more round than the Medela disposable + 2 sticky tabs to keep in place - Slightly more expensive Medela disposable Rating: 4.5/5 Cost per pad: $0.11 Come individually wrapped, folded in half. + Size was sufficient, contoured + 2 sticky tabs to keep in place - Not as round/discrete as Lansinoh, but not bad Johnson’s Rating: 4/5 Cost per pad: $0.17 Come stacked in the box, not folded or individually wrapped. + Very small size and round, contoured +/- NOT individually wrapped like all of the other disposable products. I liked this, but if you carry extras with you for changing away from home it may be less desirable. - Only has 1 sticky tab to hold in place NUK Rating: 3.5/5 Cost per pad: $0.12 Come flat, individually wrapped. +/- Very large in size - Not contoured - Only has 1 sticky tab to hold in place Naturally Nature Washable Nursing Pads Rating: 3/5 Cost per pad: $2.50 + Can be cheaper in the long term + Great size/shape (contoured) - More likely to shift - Need to be changed as soon as there is any leakage. Comments: Good product, but not for me for every day use. These are fine for at home use, but I preferred the disposable kind especially when going out. With the reusable one, they do not wick away and trap moisture as well as the disposables. This leads to irritation if not promptly changed. Medela Reusable Pads Rating: 1/5 stars I bought these as part of a kit at Target and was not satisfied. If you buy reusable pads, buy ones that have a waterproof backing.

These are a life saver!
These were an absolute life saver for me! I got a few of the bamboobies reusable pads and thought those would be enough. Luckily, my mom knew better and got me a box of these "just in case" well, I ended up using these more in the first few months that I ordered myself 2 more boxes! I had samples of other pads and they were either too thin or just an odd shape or both. The adhesive on the back helps when you're feeding at night and you just pull your nursing bra down, you don't have to search around in the dark when it unknowingly falls out of your bra. I also found a way to fold my nursing bra/tank top down with these on to catch any run off milk that trickled out of babies mouth, before my tanks just got soaked after feedings. And I know your supposed to change them out every day but in those first few weeks it's not the most important thing on your mind, I ended up wearing them for 2-3 days sometimes and they were super absorbent enough to hold that. I was definitely an over producer at first too! Sometimes after one day of wearing them I could ring it out and get 1/2 an ounce out!

Natural looking a very absorbent
These work great but my favorite thing about them is that after wearing them for a short time, they conform to the shape of your breast so that you really can’t see that you are wearing them. They also hold a lot of leaking milk. I’ve never had to change one out because it was full. I do open a new pair every morning but the same 2 pads will last me all day.

A must have for breast feeding moms!
These are a MUST for any breastfeeding mom. I am on my second box now and plan on using these until I stop breast feeding. I had the reusable ones at first-I was trying to be environmentally friendly- but they were not practical and honestly.... I had so little time to myself, I didn’t want to add having to wash them daily to my list. Enter these amazing pads, they are super absorbent, not too noticeable(I wear sports bras and they are only slightly noticeable but once they are on your boob for a while?m, the folded shape disappears). I swear by these and I want to say this is one of the better deals! Pros- Adorable Convenient Absorbent Cons- Can become sour milk smelling Bad for the environment

My favorite nursing pads!
I have tried a lot of brands and these Medela nursing pads are by far my favorite. They are not itchy, they absorb a lot and absorb well so you don't feel the wetness, and they stay in place very well even if you don't use the sticky tabs! You can see them under your clothing if you wear a thin bra, but I haven't found any pads that a thin bra will cover up. I usually wear the Bravado seamless nursing bra that has the little foam inserts and that covers them up perfectly!

Life saver
This amazon account belongs to my husband, so dont get weird about the review of this product by a man. I have been using these since my daughter was born. I dont know what i would have done without them. So comfortable and durable that u cant even feel u are wearing something. And really keeps you dry. If you are over lactating like me, this is your life saver.

A favoritte
These Medela disposable nursing pads are my favorite so far. - most comfortable out of four types I have tried- slightly softer and less scratchy - good for people without washer/dryer in their apartment Sorry, Mother Earth! - very absorbent, no leaks except when I did not re-adjust for sleep (see tip below) - discrete under thicker bra or bra with foam inserts that came with my nursing bra from that popular motherhood store; it's nude colored and has a camisole option. It's kind of spandexy. I would not even care if people thought I had lumpy boobs at this point. When I venture outside, I just wear a cardigan or jacket and no one is the wiser. Planning to wear a lot of looser fitting darker tops and cardigans when I go back to work to try to be more discrete as I don't want to give pervs an excuse to stare. To get a smoother, sillouette, you can sort of stretch the pad out by pulling on the top and bottom of the pad before or after sticking it inside your bra and it will be smoother. Actually, after wearing them for a few hours, they are pretty much invisible without effort. See my unflattering picture: I'm wearing an unlined nursing bra that isn't very supportive, and wearing the Medela nursing bra pads. Tip: You should air out when you can, and change the nursing pads after every feeding if you suspect you may be getting thrush, or just do it because it's comfortable! I have not had a problem, but I have been super careful at the first sign of discomfort-- itching or the slightest irritation. I used coconut oil, aired out, and began changing pads more frequently, as a friend warned me about it. Tip: At night when you lie down to sleep, your breast moves off the target of the nursing bra pad. Just restick the nursing pads where your boobs have migrated to when you are lying on your side.

Absorbent and comfortable but a little lumpy
These are the most cost effective pads I found and they do the job in being very absorbent and do not chafe my skin or nipples. However, I’d dock a half a star because the shape of them do not make a perfect curve so if you used them under a shirt or in a bra without a padded cup/insert, it looks very lumpy and while I know these aren’t meant to make you look sexy, I wish it were a bit more discreet.

What I needed.
These get the job done, and for a box of this quantity, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better deal. If you're a new mom and still leaking everywhere, these may not be the best option for you as they are a touch thinner than some alternatives. That being said, however, you have 50 pairs to go through, so even if you are changing them out 3-4x a day you still have plenty to last a while. I have been buying these since 2 months postpartum to make sure my shirts stay dry at work, and they're exactly what I was looking for. And being on Amazon is more convenient for those days when I don't have the chance to stop at Target to pick them up myself.
