Leo Varma doesn’t need love. At thirty-seven, he’s satisfied with focusing on his career, friends, and casual hookups. Besides, getting into a real relationship would mean finally telling his conservative family that he’s gay, and possibly losing them forever. He’s convinced himself that living in the shadows is good enough... until he meets Dylan.

Dylan Drake-Matthews might be a catastrophe on two legs, but he loves life. After taking a part-time job at the club Leo frequents, the wide-eyed nineteen-year-old dives into the kink scene with both feet. When his first few attempts end in disaster, Leo takes Dylan under his wing, and everything clicks in a surprising way.

But secret encounters can only carry them so far. Dylan’s authenticity and personal honesty make Leo wish things were different in his own life, while Leo’s family situation keeps him from being what Dylan needs. Can Leo face his fears? Or will he let the love he never expected to find slip through his fingers?

Leo & His Lion is an 80K word May/December, kitten play MM romance featuring an adorable kitten, the sexy man he calls Daddy, and superhero underwear. It is the second book in the Oh My! series and can be read as a standalone.

Gingersnaps!

I eagerly anticipated Leo and His Lion, the second installment of the Oh My! series, after reading Teddy and His Bear and was not disappointed. One of the things I liked was that I actually liked the two stories for different reasons. Leo and His Lion wasn't just a redo of Teddy and His Bear only with different character names like it can sometimes feel like in these types of series. In T&HB Teddy and Barrett interacted a lot and the nature of their relationship was a big focus and integral to who they were as a couple. I got my happy couple, warm and squishy, feel good squees with them. In L&HL we see Dylan and Leo more as individuals throughout the story and the D/s is less predominant but more of an exploration and an element but not the whole dynamic. I didn't have as many warm squishy squees perhaps in this story, but I had many other things. Lots of smiles and laughs. Dylan is adorable. And something else I loved was that he wasn't just the silly goofball from book one but we gained more insight into who he really is and he had more depth to him than just clumsy comic relief. I admired and was inspired by how comfortable he was with who he is, how understanding and loving he was, and the way he gave the appropriate importance to things but still enjoyed life and didn't take things so seriously. Leo struggled a lot personally during this story, and while it could be easy as a reader who wants to be entertained or as someone who comes from a place of not having personally experienced what it is to be LGBT or having a family dynamic and culture that demands certain behavior to see him as weak or a coward, I personally appreciated seeing his more realistic struggle. I mean, yes, I too was rooting for him to do what needed to be done and live his full life, but his journey and struggle where what made the story and showed who he was and how much he cared for Dylan and how much he grew as a person despite already being successful and seemingly put together. Everyone has their "something" and I loved watching him grow and finally overcome for himself and for Dylan, but in a way that was respectful to all involved. And not to make this story sound like it's all serious or anything! I just wanted to address some things I saw in other reviews and point out that there is a depth to the story. There is also, as I mentioned, a ton of humor, adorableness, fun kinky times, hot sexy times, and heartwarming friends and family times, and an all around fun and sexy entertaining read. I loved Leo and his Lion, definitely recommend it, and eagerly anticipate Tony and His Tiger!

This book gave me all the feels!

Okay, so we already got hints of how adorable Dylan is in Teddy and His Bear. I was wondering if this book could be everything I wanted it to be, or was I putting to much expectation on it? Teddy and His Bear was sooo good, could this book possibly be just as good? IT WAS BETTER! I don't know how anyone could read this story and not fall in love with Leo and Dylan. It was funny and sexy, but there were also real struggles that brought out the tears. It left me just wanting to sit in a room with these characters and soak them in, be a part of there world. I can't wait for the next story in this series!

Dude, sir!

Being the second story in this series, it was everything that the first was. I loved it completely and would absolutely read it again and again. You will laugh, get mad, feel the angst, love the adorabless of if all and may even tear up a bit! Dylan is so amazingly perfect and owns who he is. I love that he is unapologetically him. The journey he is on in the story will have you cheering for him. I love that Dylan didn't go through it alone. He had help, but he was determined and didn't give up. Leo goes through his own awakening as well and it will make you proud, if not a little frustrated. Being in a different spot than Dylan, Leo had to fight through his roadblocks and well, you'll see! All the characters are a wonderdul part of the story. Seeing how they are a makeshift family was beautiful. Family is not always blood. Andi James and Lila Wilde are amazing writers and in my opinion, geniuses! I highly recommend this series and I cannot wait until book #3 comes out! Fan for life 💛🐈

Purrfection

I had to go with that title. 😉 I loved Dylan and Leo. Dylan is so oblivious to his actions that it is exacerbating and endearing to those that take the time to know him. I liked how easily Leo took to him and his quirks. Poor Leo is letting his fears rule his life. He hides his preferences and fears his family and their friends. You feel for him and yet you also want to shake him. I loved this story and the characters. I'm in love with how open Dylan is to trying new things. I laughed a lot while reading about his adventures at the club. You really want to take him home and take care of him. This book made me laugh and get teary eyed. I feel in love with the guys and didn't want to leave them at the end. I can't wait for the next book.

Sweet, Hot & Funny!

I love Dylan - he is absolutely adorable and I just wanted to take him home and adopt him (I am old enough to be his mom after all)! He tries so hard and wants to please everyone, but has very few people who are truly in his corner and take him seriously. He knows what he wants though and goes after it. This book had it all -- sweetness (Dylan), heat (Dylan & Leo) and OMG some of the funniest moments I've read in a long time! There is one chapter (I won't spoil it and tell you which one) that had me laughing so hard I had tears streaming down my face! I loved Teddy & His Bear, and this book was even better. I can't wait to read the next one!

Absolutely delightful!

Oh my giddy aunt, I just wanna put Dylan in my pocket and keep him forever! He manages to leave a little path of destruction wherever he goes, and yet it is utterly impossible not to love him. This was such an enjoyable read, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. Dylan and Leo are wonderful together; Leo offers Dylan stability, acceptance and strength, while Dylan offers Leo plenty of the same in his own bumbling adorable sexy kittenish ways. I enjoyed the first book in this series, Teddy and His Bear, but I'd have to say I loved Leo and His Lion even more. Can't wait for book three!

Strength and submission, love and acceptance.

I fell into this story right after it's prequel, and I couldn't be more thrilled. I wish I could be as unabashedly myself as Leo. He has such amazing confidence in himself, his right to explore, and his right to figure things out on his own terms. He struggles with his own self doubts, of course, and he still inspires his Dom to embrace his identity and confront pressures that have kept him living a double life for decades. The word Lion, isn't used lightly. Also I have never laughed so hard (in the best possible way) while reading a flogging scene before!

Oh My is Right

I adore Dylan. This book is so well crafted that I didn't want to put it down. Both writers turned Dylan into this amazing young man that every one wants to know. This book made me laugh, made me cry and makes me happy. Leo definitely deserved his happily ever after and Dylan is his perfect little lion. I cannot wait for the next book in this series from these two amazingly talented authors. Leo and his Lion will be on my favorites list for a long time to come. I am anxiously awaiting to see if they can top this story with Tony and His Tiger. I also hope to see more of Nicholas in the future, hint hint.

Well done

I almost put this down a few times, either because Dylan was just a hair "too much" or because I got fed up with Leo being a selfish liar. I'm really glad I powered through those few moments. This book was amazingly well written. Two MCs that could have easily been ruined and yet it walked the edge perfectly. I cried for these two, which I kind of didn't expect. Perfect follow up to the first in the series. i especially love that the stories overlap in time. It's such a small but genius set up. Can't wait for the next one!!

Warm, engaging story!

Leo & His Lion is a delightful addition to the Oh My! series. Once again, the authors have written a warm, engaging story. The main characters are very easy to like. Dylan is such a charming mess and Leo is sweet as a closeted Dom. Leo proves to be an effective guide, helping Dylan discover his sexual interests. It was great to get an update on some of the secondary characters from the first book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in the series.
