Don't do it. Do. Not. Fucking. Do. It. I live with back pain, so trust me when I say that a combination of certain yoga poses / stretches + CBD is literally all you need. That shit that you're looking into will literally cause you more harm than anything else in a long run.

Man, y'all need to find some new doctors. I have two tears and a herniated disk in my lower back. I have been getting an epidural about every 3 months for about a year and a half. The next day the injection site is a little tender but I'm pain free for about 2-3 months.

Yeah depends on what's wrong. If it's an inflamed or herneated disc it might help. Works for me but if it's something more severe there are other options. Don't listen to dip-wad @beerxme corticosteroids aren't bad for you. Your body naturally will vacate the compound in a month or so.

Look into RF. They use RF waves to deaden the nerve endings. my wife had it done and went from hardly being able to move to almost pain free. The nerves will grow back in time, but hers lasted almost 2 years

The injections are perfectly safe. I had them every few months or so from when I was 18 to 25. Never had any issue, and they helped tremendously

See my profile pics, that's my neck. 8 surgeries later. Cbd didn't do shit, and I mean nothing. It helped my mood, but not my pain. Check out Charlotte's Web or Select cbd for thc free varieties in the US. Steroids did less, but were decent on my shoulder. Facet injections, and facet ablations helped the most. The ablation isn't permanent, it just stuns the offending nerve to the point it cannot fire. Give the Steroids a try. Part of it is the insurance companies in the US have too much control over treatments, and the steroid is the first step. It may only take one cycle for things to heal and the swelling to go down permanently. If the roids don't work there are other things, but do your research on the cdc website.

Three injections on cervical 3, 4, 5. Three years ago. No pain or problems since. Steroid injections. First set relieved about 40% second set relieved all pain and numbness.

I've had nerve blocks T10,T11,T12 in the facet joints, which literally made me cry in pain, and it didn't help at all. Just keep in mind that such procedure doesn't work for everyone. Still have 3 herniated discs between T9-T10, T10-T11 and L4-L5... had fusion of my C4-C5 vertebrae aswell. Living with 24/7 pain with a continuous painscore of 6-7 and in the evenings it can go up to a 9 -> literally crying and not knowing what to do about it. So I know all about it man! Good luck, and hopefully you'll get better soon!

I had an epidural with my son when I had hin and it took them 8 tries/stabs to get it in my spine and it was extremely painful for a long time afterwards.

That I remember,no, only feeling pretty good after each one. Also, if I had a lunchtime or later shot I'd not sleep until 12 hours or so after. I would get relief after my shots though, for a spell. I had 2 ruptured discs and 2 protruding discs. Surgeries in 1999 and 2001. Now on zero prescription meds related to my back and I'm back to boilermaking as my job. No troubles in a while

Well my wife got an epidural with our first baby and now she has terrible back pain. People keep telling her it's from carrying stuff but she started getting it before she was discharged from the hospital (she stayed for almost a week) so we're pretty sure her back pain is from having something stuck into her spinal cord. Hope this helps.

Not sure how similar it would be but I got an epidural when I had my son and still have a large tender spot on my spine from it 2 years later. Heard that's pretty common.

I've had several over the years. Each one worked wonders for me. Eventually had to have 2 surgeries anyway but ESI's helped me WAY more than harmed me. Only drawback for me personally was they wired me, couldn't sleep for hours after. I would suggest a morning appointment if you decide to get one....
